You walk in this place and you're instantly family. I personally have never been here but it will not be the last time I am here The waitress that we had, she was absolutely amazing and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the catfish fillets and two sides, hush puppies, it was $11. I'm talking about it was absolutely amazing and the experience was great, the parking lot was cleaning it was in a great area it was right on the main road you can't miss it. What a great experience. Thanks a lot

I always order takeout but on 4/2/25 I order double Broccoli and cheese, meatloaf and barbecue bread and I also ordered a meatloaf, pinto beans, turnip greens, meatloaf, and cornbread. My complaint is the broccoli and cheese. The broccoli was so mushy like it had been sitting in water since lunchtime and I ordered for dinner. It was absolutely disgusting. The meatloaf was dry but good. The photos don’t really show how mushy the broccoli is but it’s very mushy.

Pleasant surprise. BBQ plate was perfect. Large serving of coleslaw and crispy fried green tomatoes. Chicken and Dumplings was the other order with okra. Read the daily special meal. Usually your best deal. Be sure to add the desert of the day, only available on special.

First time here. Portions are small. You’d expect a restaurant size bun for your BBQ if you pay $11 for the sandwich but it was small regular size. Fries were small amount too. Very small. No BBQ sauce on the table at a BBQ joint !!! It was OK. Much like what you’d fix at home. Food not that great. Staff was so friendly. Place was clean. Nice atmosphere.

Bar BQ sandwich was ok but the sauce was interesting, either had too much cinnamon or nut meg. Love the cheese curds and sweet tea. Customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice.

Service was good. Got the catfish with green tomatoes and onion rings it was all greasy like the heat was to low or too much was in the fryer.The fries green tomatoes flavor was great but they were soggy. The onion rings were good though

Looking for some BBQ in my travels, I ran across this place and decided to give it a whirl. The service was prompt and courteous and my server Tandi was great. The tea was soured, either the sweet or the unsweet tea, as I prefer half & half. I ordered the sliced beef brisket come slaw and baked beans. The beans were good and even had a little meat in them, very sweet they were. The cole slaw was more or a finer puree style of chop with very little carrots in it, a very runny mayo style. The beef had a lot of gristle in it and had hardly any smoke flavor at all, it came smothered in bbq sauce, had it not it would have had no flavor hardly. Look at the picture, the smoke penetration was about 1/8" into the meat, very little. This meat was dry as well like it had been sitting around under a heat lamp for sometime, maybe it was just overcooked, but one or the other. The cornbread was dense and did not rise very much when it was made. It also had been made for a while. The portions were decent, this was the best thing and the price was not bad, had everything been better. If out looking for bbq, pass this place up.......

$20.85 is too much for a quart of Vegetable soup. There is literally 2 bowls. It’s good but not $10.42 per bowl good. I understand inflation but this is over the top expensive.
