La estadía fue regular pero parece haber sido por algunos inconvenientes temporales que han tenido. No tenían jabón en las habitaciones y el aire acondicionado estaba goteando en la alfombra. Aparte de eso, todo estuvo bien.

Do not stay here. We’ve moved rooms a total of three times, and all three rooms had AC leakage that caused the carpet to get wet and musty. All three restrooms had black mold in very noticeable spots; around the toilet and by the tub drain and shower head were most prominent. DND signs are ignored and both my husband and i come home from work at 6am so this is VERY frustrating to deal with. At one point the manager told the housekeeper to hand us a vacuum so we could vacuum our own room. We make extensions to the room online, and while we were up front extending the room, the same manager told us to stop going online because she had to pay commission to the site. When we refused she told us we had to have our things out of the room by next friday due to the hotel being ‘booked’, while our room was already occupied. A VERY verbally aggressive drunk man stays on the premises and constantly harasses other guests as well. When we told front desk about it, the SAME lady told us to just ignore him. Wifi has gone out twice in our stay, and when given a number to call, the service provider told us they were downgrading and now wifi is practically unusable. Fridges will either freeze your food or let them thaw till they’re no longer edible and they all have broken dials so you cannot fix them.

Omg this hotel, if you can call it a hotel; was the nastiest hotel I’ve ever been in. It smelled like must and cigarettes. The carpet felt damp. On the outside it didn’t seem to be as nasty as it was. We booked 2 rms one on the 2nd floor and one in the back by the pool. The front desk staff was not pleasant by any means. We met some very nice people who were going to the same destination although we didn’t see them again, I would have to believe that they had the same experience. The price we paid of $105 plus tax was way too much for this dump! The breakfast wasn’t edible even the kids wouldn’t eat it: Also we went to a nearby restaurant called Roosters, that we thought was one of the well known restaurants. It wasn’t the food wasn’t awful. The locals that worked there could use some customer service training. |Three of my 4 children work in the food service industry in successful well known locations. I always feel respect for people who work in the hospitality business. I tip the housekeeping staff well at hotels that are clean and maintained and unfortunately I couldn’t spend another dime at that hotel while they continue to take peoples money for less than a clean Oder free hotel. ||On the way back from the week at the beach, we booked a hotel room at Home 2 in Athens. It was the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was beautifully decorated and had every thing you would need, not just one night but I could have stayed there for several nights so comfortably.

The room I was assigned was still being cleaned after check-in time so I left and came back about 40 minutes later. The room was adequate. Seemed clean (except for the TV remote). I think the AC struggled with the heat and humidity and the room felt quite damp in the morning (before running the shower). I thought it was odd that there was no toilet paper holder. The roll was just sitting on the tank. And although it was an accessible room there was not a grab bar by the toilet. The outlets by the bedside were not able to charge my devices. The location was quiet and the grounds were clean. Breakfast was as expected and had a good variety. I liked the proximity to the stores next door, plenty of restaurants, and the interstate. Overall the room could use updating (remove carpet, replace fixtures and furniture, get new linens).

The rooms are old, lack proper upkeep and have bugs. I wanted to take pictures, but thought best not to. However, until they update this hotel, I would avoid it. I will say the staff is very nice, and the location is good to great. If you do not mind an older dirtier hotel, this is for you, otherwise avoid it.

The carpet was filthy, the room felt damp and musty. The bottom of my feet were black when I was ready to go to the bed from the filthy carpet. I chose this hotel because I was able to have my fur baby, but how stupid is it for a hotel to have carpet in a room that allows pets in case of accidents. My mom and her friend were right next-door to me and they couldn’t lock their door at night and after they had settled in, that is when they realized it and the only offer was to move them to another room while it was late we were too tired to do that.

Old lady at the front desk probably worst customer service you can find. Wouldn’t make me a room key to check in because she was “busy” while there was only 1 person in the lobby on their phone. Really nice way to be greeted! Go to one of the hotels close and hopefully you’ll be greeted with a smile and a room key instead.
