Had an awesome experience at David's Catfish House. This was my second visit and the reason for my return was the high quality of service that I received on my first visit. My second visit was no different. The service staff is extremely well trained, very accommodating, and genuinely friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Even as a tourist to Atmore, I still felt welcome in the homey surroundings. Overall, had a great time!

My wife and I had dinner here recently. She got the catfish and I got a burger. Both were fantastic! Our server was great and did an amazing job. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend dropping in for a bite to eat here.

This place is excellent but difficult to find on Google. It should rate 1st on Google. Everything including the tap water was succulent! So good in fact that you don't even need the sauce. However, the sauces were fabulous and added exceptional taste when used sparingly. The service was friendly but a tad slow, I guess that is life in a small city. Atmore city is down the road a ways but certainly worth the drive if you are anywhere near. One thing you notice is how cleanly the shrimp comes out of the shell.

I asked for my whole catfish be fried extra hard but when it came out it wasn't fried extra hard. However, the server made sure it was corrected and it was perfectly delicious, along with my sides. 😋

The food is good, and the portions are great. Slaw is good, but a little oniony for my taste. We had good service. Great decor!
