City of National City, City Hall

Every company and government entity needs to work in the most efficient way. Why add extra unnecessary steps to almost everything? Why add so many obstacles for businesses, if what we want is the city to grow? Many of the procedures that this city requires only deter businesses from operating here, or individuals from starting their own business. For example: If a business is operating from X address, and now another business will operate from within that first business, in that same X address... There shouldn't be a need to check for "zoning". Let's do our best to increase business!!

I really like the National City hall they have friendly staff and professional service. I can not complain about anything. Paperwork and formalities take their time but its line anywhere else. The place is not renovated but it is always clean.

Any politician going into office claiming to be for the people and truthfully not helping all people don't deserve to be in any political office both here in San Diego CA or anywhere. I've reached out multiple times to Todd Gloria back during the pandemic in regards to my 1999 Infiniti I 30 limited edition black four door Sudan which was illegal impounded and no help or reply back on a offer to help out. Now I'm reaching out again to him in regards to my 1983 Dodge Ram Prospector 1 ton van that I bought Saturday, November 11th, 2023 that I had put into the mechanic shop and was working on getting the title transferred over to me and the tags updated as well. Yet with what I found out the vehicle needs smogged so it isn't that easy for a homeless houseless person who also is living out of the vehicle. I've put into the vehicle alone more than $4000 both between the purchase of the van and repairs as well as purchasing tools and many other things for afterwards just I case I might need to do roadside assistance both on my personal vehicle or others vehicle's. I also have items that I bought both for my fiance and our kids that I was holding on to until I saw them all over the holidays. I'm still working on getting my van back and it's been sitting in the Road One Towing Service impound lot since Tuesday night February 13th, 2024 up to now. If politicians truthfully are for the people and really are wanting to help us all. Then they should be helping both poor and low income people both housed and homeless houseless people alike not just the business owners or rich and wealthy people. In my 109 years I've witnessed the government officials especially mayor's offices bring in different people thelat either care for everyone equally or pick and choose who they will be assisting and helping out. That isn't how it truthfully works. Politicians are supposed to help make sure that all are happy and getting proper help and if they need to know what the people are needing ask the people instead of assuming. That's why we use to have City/town council meeting where everyone was to attend just so everyone could be heard. Not just the rich and wealthy or the big business owners who only care about stealing from others. Sorry yet not sorry for this long post especially since it's the facts and truth.

Their check-in system is terrible. I missed my turn because no one called me, it wasn't even a minute when I got the text. They don't call out your name so what is the point of checking in.

They don't reply to emails and nobody in the office cares about anything. It is a bottomless pit of delays.
