Lois Forte Park

this park is definitely awesome and has new equipment that children can play as big open space for parties celebrations they do have a public restroom cleaned everyday the only bad thing is that some of the parts on the playground the bolts are getting loose and need to be respected

Brand new Veterans Memorial Park; pleasant design with personalized memorial bricks. My only objection IMO it seems to glorify war rather than peace. The soldiers ARE heros, our political leaders who take us into war, not so much.

If they ever add on to this park, it has the perfect topography for a skateboard "snake run". It gives the feeling of surfing and is much safer than a traditional skateboard park. Having one would make the park unique to the area. People can also Rollerblade and bike them.

Nice local Newberry park close to everything with lots of oak trees shade, pavilion, picnic tables, and several playground areas for kids and toddlers.

Very nice and very maintained park! Also a nice walking path for exercising 😊

PROS: Has play sections for all age groups. Quiet, clean, and shaded area. Not a lot of traffic. Bathrooms are usually clean (but not lately). It has a pavilion, picnic tables, and trash cans that are all well maintained. There's paved pathways for walking, not sure how many miles long it is. I enjoy taking my kids there and my kids enjoy playing there. It's a public park so just keep a close eye on your surroundings and more importantly your kids. Overall, an awesome place.

Nice and peaceful park to have a walk with your family, or let your kids play in the play ground. It has lots of big trees, a long paved walking lane, a few gazebos with benched tables, water and a BBQ grill space. Also, there is a large gazebo with plenty space, four tables with bench, water and grill facilities as well. It also has bathroom facilities. It is perfect for celebrating a birthday party or any other activities. My kids love this park and I love it too!!

Nice place to bring your kids or have a picnic. Beautiful old oaks offer great shade. There are benches along the paved pathways. The playground equipment for kids is really nice. Throughout the park there are several pavilions and picnic benches too. There are public bathrooms, but they don't have any soap or any way to dry your hands though.
