The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center

I was here for an event with the university and this space is amazing. They have a huge ballroom and the theater/auditorium is big too. The hotel has been very well-kept and the staff are very professional. I checked out the bathrooms and I was happy to see them clean and smelling fresh and clean. I didn't even see anyone going in or coming out that worked at the hotel, but they were always clean when I entered. I did notice there were only outlets on one side of the hallway and we needed to plug up devices to charge. Other than that, the space we were set-up was excellent. They have a bar in the middle of the room in the reception area and it is stunning. If you are hosting a gala or fundraiser in the area, this is the perfect place for it. They have ample space, the staff is professional, and the food is amazing.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is very comfortable and elegant, making it an ideal place for both resting and attending university events. What stood out the most was the room service, which was simply amazing; they were very fast and helpful when I needed assistance. I also had dinner at their restaurant, Ariccia, and the service was top-notch. The food quality is acceptable; I ordered the Frutti di Mare and it was well-prepared. It’s also a nice touch to have Thrive Farmers coffee available on-site. A special thanks to the front desk team: I forgot my charger at the conferences and they were kind enough to lend me a Lightning cable for my phone so I could charge it in my room's USB port. That kind of service is a 10/10. Definitely a highly recommended place if you are visiting Auburn.

From the moment we arrived, the property reflected a standard of excellence, warmth, and professionalism that made our visit especially enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting Melvin this evening. He was exceptionally hospitable, polished, and courteous in every way. He carries himself with a calm confidence and genuine class that immediately leaves a lasting impression. His presence alone enhances the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel, and it is clear he understands the true meaning of first-class customer service. If the university or hotel leadership is ever looking for an example of the qualities that define outstanding hospitality, Melvin would be a remarkable employee to model others after. He represents professionalism, kindness, and grace at the highest level. Our room on the second floor was lovely, comfortable, and very well kept. Although we originally needed a king bed, the double queen arrangement still worked out very nicely for us. Thank you for employing individuals like Melvin, who so beautifully reflect the character, excellence, and service that make a stay truly memorable.

Very comfortable and quiet room with a cool coffee maker. I didn’t take pics of the room but have a video of the lobby and photos of the hallway looking like something from the Shining. I’m not sure about the “area of refuge” so I took a pic. Wonderful location!
